Here it is after torch-cutting. I'd have gotten much cleaner results by using any of several spinning-blade-of-doom cutting tools to remove the triangular sections, but I already knew how to do that. The point of all this was to learn welding and torch cutting, not to make something beautiful, so I did it with the torch. No regrets. It was much more fun than the blade would have been. Besides, grinding can fix just about anything.
