Strung Handsticks

What do you get when you cross a diabolo with a devil stick? I don't know either, but I do know what happens when you swap the handsticks. I took two devil stick handsticks, drilled holes near the ends and tied standard diabolo string in the same way that diabolo handsticks are constructed.

I've only figured out a few neat things to do with them so far. One of them is depicted here.
